Corey Turner is a seasoned cybersecurity practitioner with experienced focused on Vulnerability Management and Telephony Fraud. Prior to AT&T, Corey joined the United States Air Force for a career as an active duty air force domain administrator supporting Head Quarters Pacific Air Forces in Hawaii. During his service, he also completed several academic degrees, including a Masters’s Degree in Information and Cybersecurity from UC Berkeley. Corey is a lifelong learner, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Hawaii, Manoa, with a concentration on cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence. Aside from his academic pursuits, he is also a happily married father of 3 wonderful boys. He and his family live in Los Angeles, CA, and love to go on family hikes, camping, and to the local Dave and Busters for gaming. He is passionate about cutting-edge technology, and you will find him often adopting new frontiers, such as the Metaverse, ahead of wide adaptation. He aims to work as a cybersecurity researcher and contribute to the field’s growth.
