Software Industry Veteran Alex Estevez Joins AlienVault Advisory Board To Support Company’s Growth
SAN MATEO, Calif. – June 27, 2017 – AlienVault®, the leading provider of Unified Security Management™ (USM™) and crowdsourced threat intelligence, today announced that industry veteran Alex Estevez has joined the company’s Advisory Board.
Mr. Estevez has over 20 years of experience in the software industry, helping high growth companies scale efficiently. Most recently, he was at Atlassian as CFO where he helped the company prepare for its very successful IPO in 2015. He is currently a Venture Partner with Accel Partners and is on the Board of FullStory and Venture Atlanta. Additionally, he is on the advisory boards of BetterCloud, Grovo, NextLabs, and Pindrop.

Previous positions held by Estevez include CFO of BigFix, where he led the sale of the company to IBM, and president & CFO of Datastream, which was acquired by Infor Global Systems in 2006. Estevez began his career in the investment banking group of Raymond James, where he managed IPO and M&A processes for software companies. He holds an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management, and an AB from Harvard University.
