AlienVault Signs Agreement with Cohort Technology
Security Expert and Distribution Partner Cohort Technology—with Broad-based Reseller and Technology Partner Network—to enter Unified Security Management Market
San Mateo, CA (US) and London (UK), 14 February 2013 – AlienVault, the leading Unified Security Management provider committed to making security visibility complete, simple and affordable, has confirmed its new partnership with Cohort Technology, a leading distributor and marketer of IT security products. Cohort will add AlienVault’s Unified Security Management™ (AV-USM™) platform to its portfolio, offering all solutions to their customers across the UK and Ireland. Cohort and AlienVault will be able to combine their technical expertise so that customers will be actively supported to ensure smooth and successful installations and operational deployments.
AlienVault’s Unified Security Management platform provides unprecedented security visibility and reliable defence by bringing together best-in-breed open source tools and the power of shared intelligence. Behind that collaborative effort is OSSIM, the de facto standard open source SIEM solution in use by tens of thousands of practitioners from over 140 countries.
