Michael Venturella is an accomplished cybersecurity professional that currently works within the Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Security Operations Center (SOC) as a SOC Analyst. With a Bachelor’s in Information Technology from Western Governors University (WGU), and a passion for cybersecurity, Michael holds multiple industry recognized certifications due to his commitment to continuous learning. These certifications are from industry recognized vendors such as CompTIA, AWS, Cisco and Microsoft. Before the SOC, Michael started his career as a Security Analyst in the educational sector where he worked closely with his Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to be a vigilant “Watcher on the Wall”. Currently, Michael is actively pursuing his Master’s degree at WGU in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance.
