David develops, produces, and delivers Cybersecurity training online, video, and in person for AT&T enterprise customers, MSSP partners, and internal consultants. Responsible for creating blended training strategies in advanced information security topics such as penetration testing, security analysis, ethical hacking, digital forensics, and incident response, as well as defense of critical infrastructure, audit, compliance, and legal topics. David has made an impact throughout his 25+-year IT career holding leadership positions in global IT operations management, cybersecurity, and training. His leadership has been instrumental in transforming the different business units and challenging the status quo by using his unique ability to use creativity to drive change. David’s positive impact is also felt directly in his community; working in different advisory capacities in local colleges and universities. In 2018 David pioneered the first-ever Certified Ethical Hacker course at the Austin Community College. He is a lively and helpful instructor that has a selfless devotion to helping customers solve business problems. David lives in Austin, Texas with his wife Azucena. His industry certifications include: AlienVault Certified (AVSE, ACSE), AWS, CEH, CISM, CISSP, CNE, Cisco VPN Specialist.
