AlienVault Positioned as the Only Vendor in the Visionaries Quadrant of the Gartner Magic Quadrant for SIEM

San Mateo, CA, August 11, 2016 – AlienVault®, a leading provider of Unified Security Management™ (USM™) and crowd-sourced threat intelligence, today announced that it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the “Visionaries” quadrant of the 2016 “Magic Quadrant For Security Information and Event Management” for the fifth year.
As one of 14 companies included in the Magic Quadrant, and the only company to be positioned as a Visionary, AlienVault was positioned for both the completeness of its vision and its ability to execute. AlienVault USM is an all-in-one security solution that integrates asset discovery, file integrity monitoring, vulnerability assessment, host-based and network-based intrusion detection system (IDS) capabilities, and threat intelligence.
