Occasionally, you may need to replace the LevelBlue license key in your USM Appliance instance. For example, you may need to replace a trial license with a perpetual license, or you have migrated USM Appliance from VMware to Hyper-V, therefore you must use a different license key.
To replace the BlueApp license key in USM Appliance

Connect to the LevelBlue Console through SSH and use your credentials to log in.
The LevelBlue Setup menu displays.
- Select Maintenance & Troubleshooting.
- Select Update license information.

Select Online Registration if you have Internet access. You will be prompted to enter the new license key:

Alternatively, if you do not have Internet access, select Offline Registration.
Important: To continue, you must have received a license file from LevelBlue Support, see Registering USM Appliance Offline for more details.
- Insert the USB drive containing the license file.
- Click <OK> or press Enter to register the new license key.
The LevelBlue License Key update process is now complete.
