When you configure Pure Storage Purity to send log data to USM Appliance, you can use the Pure Storage Purity Operating Environment plugin to translate raw log data into normalized events for analysis. The table below provides some basic information for the plugin.

Integrating Pure Storage Purity
Before you configure the Pure Storage Purity integration, you must have the IP Address of the USM Appliance Sensor.
To configure Pure Storage Purity to send Syslog messages to USM Appliance
- In the Purity GUI, select System > Configuration > Syslog Server.

In the Syslog Server field, specify:
udp://<Host>:514
where you need to replace "<Host>" with the USM Appliance Sensor IP Address.
