When you configure D-Link Wireless Controller to send log data to USM Appliance, you can use the D-Link Unified Wireless Controller plugin to translate raw log data into normalized events for analysis. The table below provides some basic information for the plugin.

Integrating D-Link Wireless Controller
Before you configure the D-Link Wireless Controller integration, you must have the IP Address of the USM Appliance Sensor.
To configure the D-Link Wireless Controller to send Syslog messages to USM Appliance
- From the controller's management GUI, select the Tools > Log Settings > Remote Logging option and then go to the Syslog Server Configuration section of the Remote Logging Configuration page.
- Enable a syslog server and specify the IP address of the USM Appliance Sensor.
- Save your changes.
Note: You can specify the granularity of log messages from the wireless controller's Tools > Log Settings > Logs Facility page.
