Vectra Networks X-Series

When you configure Vectra Networks X-Series integration to send log data to USM Anywhere, you can use the Vectra Networks X-Series plugin to translate the raw log data into normalized events for analysis.

Vectra Networks X-Series Integration

Before configuring the log collection, you must have the IP address of the USM Anywhere Sensor.

To configure the Vectra Networks X-Series to send log data to USM Anywhere

  1. Log in to the Vectra Networks X-Series console and go to Settings > Notifications.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and under the syslog section, click Edit.

  3. Enter the following into the respective fields:

    1. Destination= IP address of the USM Anywhere sensor

    2. Port = 514

    3. Protocol = UDP

    4. Format = CEF

    This completes the configuration.
