When you configure Huawei Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) integration to send log data to USM Anywhere, you can use the Huawei NGFW plugin to translate the raw log data into normalized events for analysis.

Integrating Huawei Next Generation Firewall

Before configuring the log collection, you must have the IP address of the USM Anywhere Sensor.

To configure the Huawei NGFW to send log data to USM Anywhere

  1. Enter the system view:


  2. Enable log monitoring:

    firewall log stream enable

  3. Export traffic monitoring logs to the USM Anywhere sensor:

    info-center loghost <USM-Anywhere-Sensor-IP-address> 514 facility local0

  4. Exit the configuration mode:
