USM Anywhere™


When you configure Cyphort integration to send log data to USM Anywhere, you can use the Cyphort plugin to translate the raw log data into normalized events for analysis.

Integrating Cyphort

Before configuring the log collection, you must have the IP address of the USM Anywhere Sensor.

To configure Cyphort to send log data to USM Anywhere

  1. From the Cyphort web UI, go to Config > Notifications > SIEM Settings.

  2. Indicate the following parameters (shown in the following illustration):

    • Data types to forward
    • CEF format
    • All malware
    • Trigger
    • Days and dates that trigger data forwarding
  3. In the Hostname field, add the IP address of the USM Anywhere Sensor.
  4. In the Port number field, type 514 for UDP transport.
  5. On the host name field add the AlienVault USM Anywhere Sensor IP, and in the port number field the port 514.

  6. Click Save.
