USM Anywhere™


When you configure CylancePROTECT integration to send log data to USM Anywhere, you can use the CylancePROTECT plugin to translate the raw log data into normalized events for analysis.

Integrating CylancePROTECT

To configure CylancePROTECT to send log data over syslog to USM Anywhere

  1. From Cylance, go to Settings > Application.
  2. In the Integrations section, select Syslog/SIEM.

  3. Under Event Types, select all available events.
  4. For SIEM, select AlienVault as the destination.

  5. For Protocol, select UDP or TCP.
  6. On IP/DOMAIN, type the IP address of the USM Anywhere Sensor

    Use 514 as the port number if using UDP, or 601 if using TCP.

  7. For Severity, select Debug.
  8. For Facility, select Internal.
  9. Click Save.
